Hi Stuart,

Somehow i seem to have troubles the last days's when uploading from sporttracks to runsaturday.

Today i get the message:
Error seen while uploading activity
Error message was value cannot be null
Parameter name: source.

I can't figure out which ST field has to be the source field. Confused

Also activities uploaded yesterday and moved in RS and upload again give the above exception.

regards
Dirk

Not aware of anything I've broken - and I just did an upload from ST fine.

Any more details you can provide?

Is anyone else seeing problems?

I just tried it on a different PC, first one win XP seccond Vista. Same problem. Sad
The activities are non-gps and manual entered in sporttracks.
They are almost the same as the activities from yesterday between 11.00 and 12.00. Which i managed to get uploaded. But when i upload these activities again i also get the same message.

Any idea what the source parameter means? Maybe i can search further.

Really not sure what it is - but one other person is reporting the same problem.

Can you email me - me[at]slodge[dot]com - a fitlog?

It works again Smile

first uninstall the runsaturday plugin, re-install sporttracks, rename the Preferences.System.xml and afterwards install the plugin again did the trick.

Just install the plugin again wasn't enough.

So obviously no one has broken something. Or it was me. But i'm not aware of changing anything arround sporttracks on my pc.

For other users, maybe was renaming the Preferences.System.xml enough instead of installing sporttracks again. But i was not sure so i did the whole 'thing'

By the way the preferences file can be found at:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\ZoneFiveSoftware\SportTracks\2.0

Where user is the name of your user account on your computer. (this is the XP) location.

regards
Dirk

Thanks Dirk

I'm very confused!

I've been busy so not changing the server - the only thing that really changed on the server was some compression (gzip on http) but I don't think that should cause your problems.

However.... I think because you and at least one other saw this, then it was *not* a problem on your PC - I think it must be something to do with the server or with the web connection.

I'll look more tomorrow (when I escape from work)

Is this still a problem for you? Somehow it cleared for Dirk... not entirely sure why.

If you still have a problem, can you email me - me[at]slodge[dot]com - a fitlog file and I'll try to take a look at it. I may not get around to it immediately though - work is manic at the moment - catching up after spending time on here in the last 2 weeks!

export to RS is now without any problem (and without any troubleshooting on my notebook). Was problem on server, or "somewhere between earth and sky"? :-)

I have a problem with uploading from SportTracks, since today SportTracks shows error: "Divide by zero error encountered" and it was by manually added activities (data from garmin were uploaded correctly). I have SportTracks 2.1 and newly installed Windows 7. Should the error be on the server or at me? thank you.

Sorry Hribek - it'll be something to do with the new server code - so not an issue for your local PC... I'll take a look.
