Apologies if this has been pointed out to you already...
I tried to view a couple of my maps (from the blog view) in 3D. After clicking the "play" arrow that appears in the window I had the error message "Error loading KML" and was left with a view of the earth, viewed from afar.

I think it's down to your privacy level - I can't even see your maps let alone your 3D player. I'll have a think about if there's any way around it - what browser are you using?

Hmm, interesting.
I've fiddled with the privacy settings so I think you should be able to see any and everything. I'm still getting the same error though.
I'm using Firefox 3.6 but have also tried it with IE7 - I got the same message both times.

OK It was definitely todo with security settings - basically Google's Earth plugin being a bit unfriendly (over optimised? over self reliant?) Hopefully should now work for you! :)

Might have spoken too soon - works for some maps... not for others... hang on...

Hmmmm... maybe later - I will come back to this with a clean approach... just fighting all sorts of security issues :/

This time :) A whole new security system... and I think this might be extensible for people who want to share activities outside of their privacy settings :)
