RunSaturday is a fast growing website designed to assist you in achieving your training, exercise and fitness goals, whether that be a new personal best time in a half marathon, losing some weight, or just creating a track of a wonderful walk in the mountains.
You can use a wide range of GPS enabled tracking devices and phones to log your activity, and then benefit from lots of tools to analyse and share your data across your blogs, online training logs or any other websites - or simply with your friends on RunSaturday.
I hope you like the site - and that we have some fun along the way!

Google Earth Support
We're growing fast - and there are new features arriving all the time.
In recent weeks, we’ve added support for several new devices, including iPhone tracking with iSportTracker and Google Earth support, so you can fly around your runs and even a set tools to put this content onto your websites and blogs!

Analysis
RunSaturday offers you the opportunity to really dig deep into your training log:
- filter by date, activity type, pace, distance, and day of the week.
- plot charts including per week, per month area summaries; time vs distance vs pace plots; and pie charts of time and distance spent per activity type and per pace.
For an example - see my recent training.
And this is only the beginning...

Mapping
RunSaturday can map your activity for you, and let you play it back on screen, looking at speed, altitude, and if you’ve logged it, even your heart rate as you travel round the route.
For example - see this Bushy Park plot.
And what’s more, not only can you log a map, you can create one too using our powerful course creation tool, which will allow you to work out runs that fit your needs to either download to your running watch and follow, or perhaps to share with friends.
You could even use the map you’ve created to challenge a friend or a group of friends, and see who can total up a long distance… currently RunSaturday users are even trying to swim the Atlantic!

About RunSaturday
|
 |
|
|
We all know how hard it can be sometimes to get out of the door to run or ride, or to get in that pool at 7:00am, so RunSaturday is here to help with that little extra motivation.
Our aim is to ensure that you, as a RunSaturday person, you'll be part of a supportive community - to help you meet your goals whether they be making a new personal best time in a half marathon, losing 2 stone, cycling further than ever before, trying out a great new Kayak route, or enjoying a wonderful walk in the mountains. Importantly, we really want it to be fun for everyone along the way!
We understand that there are a lot of different ways of tracking your sport, and lots of tools to analyse and share your data, so we've worked hard to keep RunSaturday as open as possible. We promise that we'll always try to keep adding new devices and tools for input, and lots of ways of sharing or exporting your data to use elsewhere.
The original concept for RunSaturday came from Stuart Lodge (aka hollywoof). He created first tool to allow people to upload and share Garmin TCX running watch data , a toolbar called ‘Hollybar’. Over time this grew, and in January 2009 it became RunSaturday.
....and now, 12 Months later, you, RunSaturday's fabulous users, have logged over 3 Million kilometres of activity, and there are now in excess of 3,700 RunSaturday people from over 70 countries - it's exciting, isn't it?
